Micro-channel heat exchanger

Integrated Micro Channel Heat Exchanger is made up of numbers of thin metal plates that have no burr and no bumpiness, but the plate is machined with grooves and have a defined structure. Given suitable temperature and pressure in vacuum condition, the plates will be bonded together by some time. After bonded, there are honeycomb sections for liquid of high pressure to flow through without leakage, and the strength of extension will not be lower than the base metal.

The channel equivalent diameter of the microchannel heat exchanger is between 10 μm and 1000 μm. Due to its high compactness, small volume and high compressibility, it is widely used in laser cooling, precision instrument, medical equipment, aerospace and other occasions.

① High heat transfer coefficient

Micro-channel heat exchanger, usually for liquid heat exchanging, is made by precision 3D cavity bonding technology, and it has no contact heat resistant, heat transfer coefficient can be as high as 5000-10000W/(m2•K).

② Filling little refrigerant

Comparing with plate-fin heat exchanger of same capacity, integrated microchannel heat exchanger’s passage volume has been declined by 96%, so there will be less refrigerant to be filled. That not only save running cost, but also make a great contribution to slow down global warming.

③ Compact >

Integrated micro-channel heat exchanger heat exchanging surface can be as high as 2000-3000m2 /m3, which is 6 times that of plate-fin heat exchanger. For one unit, the heat transfer amount of micro-channel heat exchanger .

④ Stand high pressure, anticorrosion

Dimension of integrated microchannel heat exchanger is only a few millimeters. By technology of integrated, the heat exchanger can stand pressure up to 30MPa nearly as same as base material. Because it can stand high temperature, the heat exchanger can be applied for CO2 . When choosing stainless steel as material, this micro-channel heat exchanger will have the ability of corrosion resistance.
